More Single Player Focus, 'Setup' for random games

Hi all I just have two things I'd really like to see more of: One is more dev focus on the single player module. In my humble experience, especially with indie online games, solid Single player is what keeps the player base alive in the long term. All indie games that focused mostly on multiplayer d...

Re: "Essential" features

Just wondering what you beef is with stacking, imo, the more you can do, the preciser you can do things, I don't really see a problem in that. What he means (and I second that) is you can stack completely nonsensical stuff, like several identical commands in a row, or 'cancel aim' even though there...

Re: "Essential" features

Here's a simple one: I'm honestly assuming the overlayed text "OUTCOME" etc. will be either removed or made less intrusive. Right now, you want to see what will happen, but have to wait for a bunch of white text to fade in and out, stating the obvious. The text overlay also doesn't fit the overall T...

Re: "Essential" features

Wasoota - with the same person? In the same direction? Sure, why not. Both. :) I play a lot vs. AI and usually I'd like to see if I can do better the second time. Also, it would be fun to re-play other people's games. Like load them from the archive and play them. Some random maps are very deep and...

Re: Netbook?

I have an old IBM laptop with about those specs (1.6 GHz [PIII I think], a quarter of your RAM) and it runs fine here under XP.

Include Version numbers in dev files, date in MOTD

Hi all I just installed the newest dev version as mentioned in the MOTD, but I realized I had no idea whether that was even required (as I had just installed the regular installer) and since the MOTD is pretty generic (no date even) I have no way of seeing whether this is a MOTD for a version I alre...
