Re: 2 weeks
Anyway I suggested this idea because a player can abuse making a perfect stack with all direct fire units in a right place and win 100% especially in secure game. Eeeeeek! You better not accept my challenge then wonder =) =P ;) I do feel we've broken the game now =( Information is never a good thin...
Re: 2 weeks
Hmmm... Enough said perhaps? It seems futile to persist in a discussion when both participants motive seems to be convincing the other person of ones own view =) Anyways!!! In January maybe something will change!?!?!? Maybe the discussed changes/fixes in fact are easy - and a lot will be done quickl...
Re: 2 weeks
I'm a programmer too, about 12 years ago I made my first game and I know that it takes maximum 3 minutes to modify one variable or property of a class to slow down the replay. Ehem ;) I agree that "easy to implement" upset programmers. It upset me too. And Fair enough... I implied adding a key-bind...

Re: [Bug] Undeletable invisible orders
Add a waypoint. Your invisible orders appear. Hit backspace until all orders are gone. And yes the deletion may be invisible so the safest thing to do is adding a waypoint and checking if they are deleted. Makes it somewhat easier as reloading will ruin your entire scheme and have to reset orders fo...

Re: some top chickens :)
After I primed I realized that my place was in other side (green units). So I should spent more time or maybe days  This might not be you at all. I vaguely remember that being one of the issues with charge I reacted upon. Either one of the bidding zones wasn't visible so you think you both are...

Re: some top chickens :)
I think most of players, especially top 50, finish their games. We rather need confirmation that our opponents will accept to prime first turn, because of some imbalance or unwanted units compositions, so like you wrote "thus communication with any player is required before I commit a turn". For sa...
Re: 2 weeks
If you just got the game it's natural that you think that the developer is a "cool" as the game. But can you list what had to be done at time of release, what has been done (in relation or not to the first), and what has not been done during the past 5 months and a half? Good point. Been looking fo...

Re: Wishlist thread
I do see that orders may become easier to implement and errors may be avoided. But the lack of this, for me, only adds more time to plan my orders as well as delay my attack in "gametime". It is such a simple addition and opens up much flexibility. And in contrary to the "perfect" orders situation I...

Re: some top chickens :)
He he... I bet he is referring to me =) But my message was not about not daring to accept the challenge, but that I currently was on a streak where I challenge randomly and intend to do this until I loose a game. I'm challenging myself in getting my longest streak this way. And that I will have refr...

Re: Wishlist thread
I'd like to see the addition of 2 new commands. - "Wait for KEYWORD" - "Shout KEYWORD" Logic can be seen in e.g. the rainbow 6 game: When setting up orders you set your men in position to engage a room. Then shout e.g. "Alpha" over the radio and all units engage the room. In FS a similar usage could...

Re: THE MODE 7 HOTLINE
1. That wouldn't solve the problem of targeting Ignores/Focus orders. Oh... Doh... Right =) Yeah had a brainfart. Yeah one need something more similar as when selecting overlapping zones. 2. Selecting them is already easy (just click one, and use the controls on the bottom to cycle through them) Di...

Re: THE MODE 7 HOTLINE
Stacking Put 2 or more units perfectly on top of each other and they become un-selectable to the opposition. It's very easy to do and sucks balls. [press 1, click where you want the stack to be, hold the mouse still, press 2, click, press 3 click etc]. This breaks unit specific orders completely. C...

Zones reveal information to opponent
When using a zone it is revealed for the other player in his next turn. Now I know that this is how it works, and hence this is per definition not a bug but perhaps more a change of functionality. It is none the less quite strange that this information should be revealed for the opponent. As I do no...

Re: Grenade launcher timer not resetting, despite not being
Noticed the same bug. Twice. What do you mean with ducking? I fire the grenade late in round 1, do not fire round 2 to reset timer and fire at start of round 3. In which way does ducking delay shot in round 3? I do of course not remain ducked while I am firing in round 3. If there is a rule that del...

Re: Prevent freezing your rating
Quite an old topic an do not know if this is resolved. But am looking for an answer to what happens here and found this post. As the current ranking system seem to suffer from this problem I had hoped there already existed some kind of solution. I quite strongly agree with wonderhero here and it app...
