FS: Prime was made by another team, originally for PS Vita. What you probably want is FS2 that should be coming later this year, with closed beta starting Soon(TM). If you got Prime from Steam, you might want to try and see if you can still get a refund, if you don't like it.

I seem to have gotten two challenges from one of the players. Since playing both of them at once might cause issues in deciding which one is the correct match for the tournament, I've only played my turn in one of them.

I think what the game actually needs in order for people to play it and be excited about it is a way to match make when offline. This really seems to be the minimum requirement. With the current Full Match rules that kind of map will probably run for 3 rounds, so whoever started the match on attack will win the game with two touchdowns.
