DeSoulminance is such an awkward yet awesome portmanteau.

What are your plans for DeSoulminance in making it more swordplay?

I remember i took computing at AS level, and didn't turn up for 3 quarters of the year, and in the exam on the subject of our own coursework I had a picture of a turkey. Everyone else had about 100 pages of a database on turkey management. Whoops.

Ahahaha. That's actually hilarious.

But yeah, this is A2, so no turkeys for andy (actually, our AS coursework was an extremely generic booking system for a village hall, but yeah). My application is so mind-numbingly boring. It took a whole lot of persuading from my friend to convince me not to build pong into it =|

What if the user is so bored that they are suicidal? SURELY THAT CONSTITUTES AS FULLFILLING THE USER'S NEEDS?!

That's the turkey in question! Man, I pissed that year up against the wall.

Yeah, I heard the second year was also ditch-water. I really wish I knew coding now, but making me jump through the hoops of pascal just wasn't my thing.

=o

I only just got to try out the new weapons. They're awesome =D!

The lance thing is fantastic, and just a pretty logical addition to the game really (although it took me 10 minutes of trying to swing it like a sword with fairly pathetic results before i realised what to do with it). The broadsword is awesome, i actually got TWO accidental double-kills with it =D

I didn't get to try out the axes/halberds too much, but i have to say, the daggers are SO badass. I knifed a guy in the face for 620 damage XD

I also tried to club someone around the head with a crossbow, which didn't work as well. Anyway, i encountered a few oddities that you may want to know about:

- New weapons dont have trails. I suspect that's because they haven't been added yet, but i thought i'd mention it just in case
- Sometimes it forced me to use the lance thingy, regardless of which weapon i chose (even ones that i knew worked)
- Some bots still occasionally forget that you exist and wont fight you (just in case you'd tried to fix that)
- It eventually crashed when i was on the chat screen (in-game)

But I WILL TRY IT TOMORROW. I wanna club someone with a dagger. (Yes, club.)

In FFA you get rewarded with additional weapons for multikills post mortem. Just use the brand spanking new change weapon keys to change back to the weapon of your choice.

Faxmachinen is correct! Soon you will not be able to select different classes in FFA, only "earn" them through multiple kills without death.

Sweet =D

I like how this game is starting to become more structured.

Oh, and could you update the F1 readme thing sometime soon? It'd be a much quicker way of working out what's going on x.x

And more people need to get on the Beta version. So far i've only played bots >=[
(Yes, i'm still supposed to be doing solid computing coursework, but i've just taken one or two short breaks is all... >.>)
