Wii's motion plus.

Postby Kage0ni » Wed Jul 16, 2008 5:27 am

It's been while since I have been around here (so long that my old account was deactivated) but I was watching the Wii press conference on E3 and thought of Determinance.

Check out the Wii's Motion Plus:

Hey KageOni, good to see you.

Yeah the MotionPlus looks very cool. We do have our feelers out there for Determinance/Guile on the Wii, but whatever happens I'll definitely get that working with the PC version to play around with.

I do have the Wiimote talking to PC Determinance right now. I might see if I can get a good control system working with Guile, but the Wiimote is still pretty unsuited for positioning of the sword, which is the most important thing in Guile.

Precisely. I mean, that's why Red Steal sucked (among other reasons).

That's what this add on does. It makes it 1:1 movement. You see from the video how it can be used for sword combat.

As for Determinance for the Wii, that would be impressive. I might finally buy one.
