CD "already in use"

Dear any remaining forum users

I very recently purchased Determinance and activated my game using my CD Key. However when i try and create a new account to be able to play online, it simply says my CD is already in use. Therefore how am i meant to start playing online?

I was not informed of any other keys when buying from Direct2Drive.co.uk
