I played two draws against SSSZmeY... One on each map.
Who decides on the map for the rematch?
Maybe if we both agree it dosn't matter?
SSSZmyY, what do you think about doing a rematch in kalikovision?

They're both alright, but of course not quite as good as my map would've been - then again, democracy hasn't lately worked well anywhere. ;)

Kalikovision was interesting because the rocket launcher gave the option to go beyond the outer walls.

Joa7000 was a bit cramped for my liking, but I didn't mind the grenade launcher since I prefer it in almost any case. The map would've worked with a rocket launcher, too, just been very different. I think any Extermination match needs at least one explosives unit to discourage camping. Which is why I prefer Charge/Disputed and rarely even play Extermination.

And yeah, I agree that the map might have benefitted from a RL to open up the map layout a bit more, but as it is, it also has quite an interesting tactical espionage sneaking feel to it. I dont think Joa will end up as my favourite map, but at the very least the 2 maps provide completely different challenges, which I appreciate a lot for the tournament/setup.

Today I've learned that Focus doesn't have the same high priority as Continue and Ignore. It was a really frustrating surprise. Events develop almost as expected (with a minor difference that prevented me from seeing this nuance in the planning phase), but then... WTF?! Why did this green dumb-ass engaged and died?!

it is not clear what you mean but if you focus on enemy why it should not engage him?

The previous turn ends up with my MG aiming at the enemy SG. I see that he has enough time to hide behind the corner. I know that there is the enemy MG behind that corner. I focuse on SG and planning to hide my MG when SG is out of sight (just to eleminate a minor possibility that enemy will attempt to push forward hoping that I'll disengage right away). The thing I didn't know is that Focus command (not like Continue or Ignore) is executed only when my unit has nothing to shoot at. So enemy MG shows before SG has hidden and my MG engages him and dies.

Why did I used Focus on SG instead of Ignore on MG/all other units? I'm questioning it myself. It just felt natural at that moment and I didn't considerd this thoroughly.

the game id is wrong and belongs to other match
