Zombie Gametype

Hey there Frozen Synapse community! First post woohoo... anyways onto business. I have noticed that few people have came up with the idea for a zombie themed gametype in Frozen Synapse, typically a wave based type of play. Then I saw this (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_7ONQMYXO2k) and my mind started spinning. So I hunkered down in skirmish mode till I came up with a mode that I was happy with. First of all I know that I wanted all of the zombies to be shotguns, for the reason they have rules of engagement advantages in their hands, and that zombies need to get close in order to kill or bite you. Next, it needed to be a small, somewhat dense yet open playing field.

At first it was just one machine gunner versus all nine shotguns, but that got too difficult. Well I was thinking that out of all the units in the game that shotguns, sniper, and machine guns are really going to be the only ones you would have in a real zombie apocalypse. After I had changed the unit amount and the map generator setting, it really got quite fun. Still doing a little bit of tweaking here and there but here is a video showing you the gameplay:
