User Already Logged In

Post by Sirloin » Thu Apr 29, 2010 10:08 pm

I am unable to connect to the grand server at the moment because it's telling me that the user is "already logged in". Logging in on a friend's account showed that I was online, and I can only put it down to losing connection to the server due to our school's crappy wireless. Anyone know any solutions to this?

Will post updates later.

Okay, so I just was able to log in. I guess you just have to wait for it to ping timeout.

Yeah, takes around 3 to 5 minutes to be able to reconnect after you left without the server realizing you did.

Personally, I'd be all for disconnecting the current user when another login attempt is made.

I'll consider that, definitely.

Just had the same problem and I can confirm that I was able to log in after a few minutes had passed.

Yeah, I had one crash and I couldn't log back in for five minutes. Unless the timeout needs to be that long for an important reason I don't know of maybe the timeout could be reduced to 60, 90, or 120 seconds?
