Using the skirmish generator to make multiplayer levels

In single player there is the skirmish generator, it allows you to set many things including the number and type of units of each side, the type of AI, the spawning, the turn limit, the visibility, the map size and the most interesting: how walls and other elements are generated.

This lets you create levels very different from the usual MP ones. If you prefer games with large maps or vast open areas or complex buildings but would get bored of playing the same handcrafted map, then the skirmish generator can help you to get unlimited number of the kind of map that you like. It even let you save, export and import settings.

Now to use those levels in MP, you simply need to find the file named spGen.enc (that is created when you generate the level) normally located in psychoff/data/encounters/ and place it in userlevels/ to load it from the Advanced Setup in Create a game in MP.

However those levels are only ready for the Extermination mode, for other modes you'll need to add the required zones by hand.
