Game pausing during a running play?

Post by BigBobr99 » Mon Feb 16, 2015 4:45 pm

The game sequence is paused after the ball had travelled a certain distance. The same rule doesnt't apply to a player running the ball. It seems that the only thing that triggers next turn is either the runner being tackled or a touchdown. As far as I remember it used to be different. Now, the game gives the defence no chance to regroup when defending against arunning play. Am I right ?

This rule is the same as it's always been in multiplayer, but in single player the player with the ball will run until he is tackled or gets to the endzone.

Well, it happened in multiplayer. The opposing player ran the whole field down after an interception. Match number 20136. Might it be because we were in overtime and his team was losing? the game finished after his run.

Hmm, that is weird. I'll try to work out what's going on when I get a chance in the next few days.

I had a similar superlong run, play 2 of match 20104. Especially when combined with running backwards this can be really hard to defend against.
