System Requirements

Postby Jimmeh » Fri Dec 06, 2013 1:13 pm

Hi,
Here's a tentative list of Endzone's system requirements.
CPU: 1.2GHz
RAM: 2GB
HDD: 3GB (this will likely increase quite a bit as the beta goes on and we add more stadia, teams and customisation options)
GPU: A GPU that supports Shader Model 3 and has at least 512MB VRAM. Anything on this list, or faster, should provide a playable framerate at least at the minimum resolution.
NVIDIA: 6800 Ultra, 7600 GT, 7800 GS, 8600 GS, 8600 GT (GDDR3), 9500 GT (DDR2)
NVIDIA Mobile: 7800 GTX, 7900 GTX
AMD: X800 XT (& PE), X850 XT (& PE), X1650 XT, X1800 GTO, HD 2600 XT, HD 3650 (DDR3), HD 3670
AMD Mobile: X1900, 3670
AMD Integrated: 6520G, 6530D, 7480D
Intel Integrated: Intel HD Graphics 4000

We'd really appreciate it if you could post your system specifications and how well the game is running for you in this thread.
Thanks!

2010 MacBook Pro
2.4 Ghz Intel Core i5
8GB RAM
nVidia GeForce GT 330M
OSX 10.8.2 (Mountain Lion)
Parallels 7 w/ Windows 7

Performance: Stable, but very poor frame rate at lowest quality (I'd guess around 10fps)

Unfortunately the game is nigh unplayable on my system:

Intel QuadCore 2.8 Ghz
4Gb RAM
Radeon HD 5670
Win7 64-bit

I tried a game against AI, load time was unbearably high and the game stopped responding (at the time process was hogging 250K of memory in task manager).

I did manage to run the demo, albeit very sluggish.

ps: i may have put resolution at max settings, will try again with low settings.

pps: ok I was on ultra settings. it runs quite nicely on medium settings :) I do hope that in the future I will be able to increase it and benefit from all the shiny smooth rendering...

Have a 2012 MBP (2.9 i7), running a win7 64 bit w/2Gb Ram under Fusion. Runs ok in windowed mode at a medium level of detail. Fries the battery though! Am travelling atm, so it'll do until I get back to my PC.

Intel Core i5
4Gb RAM
GeForce GT 635M
Win 8

The framerate is really low, even with "Minimum" setting, but I can play without any problems.

Core i7 2600k
8GB DDR3
GTX560Ti
Win 7 64-bit

Works on ultra settings in 1920*1200 fullscreen pretty much flawlessly.

AMD Phenom II X4 840T Processor 2.9 GHz
6.00 GB RAM
Win 7 64-bit OS
ATI Radeon HD 4200

I play on minimum settings and the frame rate is low, dropping dramatically if I tab out to anything else. I also only have full screen due to being locked into the lowest resolution available by my monitor.

I've seen videos posted online of picture perfect frame rates and am very envious. My game looks nothing like that. Sometimes it's amazing that I can even tell what happened on a play.

The cinematics actually go in slow motion in order to accomodate my frame rate and still be pretty though.

Intel i5 3.2Ghz
Radeon HD 6790
6Gb RAM
Win 7 64-bit

Roughly 2 year old system. Runs smoothly at 1600x1050 on High quality. Was a little sluggish on Ultra at 1900x1200.

However it does really suffer if I have another big process running at the same time e.g. another game. So rather than keep it open in the background while playing something else, I have to close it down.

Intel Core i5 CPU M 480 @ 2.67GHz
4 GB RAM
Windows 8, 64-Bit
NVIDIA GeForce 310M

On lowest resolution with minimum graphics quality, the game plays at a passable 20-25 fps. However, load times are very long (30 sec to start a game, ~10 sec to prime a play).

On my desktop:
Intel i5-2500K
12 Gb RAM
Win 8 64-bit
Radeon HD 7950
1920x1080
Ultra - 60 fps

On my new "ultrabook":
Intel i5-4200U
8 Gb RAM
Win 8 64-bit
Intel HD 4400
1024x768
Minimum - 13-17 fps

I do hope that you guys can optimize the game. I think the ultrabook form factor is ideal for it, but they don't have the dedicated graphics to support the game in its current state.

Hey just want to report that I just got the Steam Early Access version, and I paid my $25 hoping it would run on my laptop that only has an Intel Integrated HD 3000 in it (the requirements say it needs a 4000), and I am happy to report that it actually runs and is playable! A little bit choppy in places, but nothing that deters from playing and enjoying this game.

I know it was a little bit of a gamble, but I was pretty confident that it would at least be playable on my computer, and I was right. :)

- Windows 7 Professional 64-bit
- Solid State Drive
- RAM 4 GB
- Graphics adaptor Intel HD Graphics 3000
- Processor i3 1.4GHz

the game go very well at minimum graphics quality and max resolution (fullscreen 1366x768)
Nemesis - Frozen Cortex
Nemesis90 - Frozen Synapse (i found a guy who trade it for Frozen Cortex, cool :) )

Okay, so someone told me that HD4200 sucks.

So I upgraded to a Radeon R7 240. I now play on ultra and the frame rate is wonderful.

Though there is a problem with the sound when I'm trying to move around the pitch, the music and announcer gets choppy.

Reduced graphics to 'high' and haven't had any problems, will let you know. Some games were loading with terrible frame rates.

Excited to get the performance help with the next beta release!
