Crashing

Postby Darrel » Sun Mar 08, 2015 8:27 am

Hi,

I have severe technical problems with my game. I just can play on minimal graphics settings. If I choose sth higher, I get a c++ runtime error every time I start a game.

If I set on minimal graphics I can play multiplayer games. If I try Singleplayer the game crashes occasionaly in every game.

My OS is Windoes 7
My graphics card: AMD Radeon 270x

I mailed the support but have no solution yet.

Has anyone a similiar problem and a workaround for me?

Regards

It sounds like a RAM issue to me - how much RAM do you have?

Hey - I'm afraid 4gb is our minimum spec. We can offer you a refund if you purchased from our website, or if not then you may need to contact Steam. My apologies for that.

Hi,

I bought via steam.

And that is why my game crashes? That would be a pity.

Yes I'm afraid so - Cortex is quite the memory hog.

Okay,

thanks. I don't want a refund. I can play mp on minimal settings and I like your products (I habe frozen synapse, too).

Perhaps I'll get more RAM during this year. If game crashes nonetheless I will get back to you ;-)

Perhaps I can give another update.

I had to reinstall my os. I used windows Home Premium 32bit before. Now I installed the 64bit variant. Now the game runs without crashing although I have just 3 gb of ram.

Perhaps this info is useful for some of you.
