SOLUTION: "Missing" FrozenEndzone.dll

Post by forgetacular » Wed Mar 12, 2014 6:22 pm

For some reason, a few days ago I got an error whenever I tried to start up FE that went along the lines of: "Could not find the library: <pathname>/FrozenEndzone.dll. Please make sure that it exists and that DirectX has been updated." This confused me as the .dll was clearly there and all of my drivers were up to date. The only reason I was able to find the solution is because I was having a similar problem with my copy of Civilization 5. As it turns out, I was missing a specific .dll file that both of these games apparently require. I'm not sure what caused the error as both of the games worked fine and I didn't do anything apparent to trigger the loss of this file, but anyways, here is the solution I found:

1) Go to this website: http://www.techbitten.com/dll/descargar ... -and-vista
2) Click the "Download Link" (not the big advertisement xD)
3) Unzip the d3_dx9_42.zip file
4) Copy the d3_dx9_42.dll file into the same directory as your FrozenEndzone.exe file (if you got it through Steam, it would be Steam/SteamApps/common/FrozenEndzone)

Not sure if anyone else has this error, but I hope this helps! I'll see you all on the field!

I think you can download dll file from http://fix4dll.com/msvcr120_dll and put in the special folder which you can find in the instructions. I don't remember the name of this system folder.

What is the special folder you mention?

This type of problem is occur due to wrong directory . Another reason is that may be your dll were out of date or problem may solve after download msvcr140.dll file So first you have to update your all drivers then i am definitely sure your problem will be solve.
