the grand prize!
The rules are simple: Each challenger starts off with 3 points. At the beginning of the tournament, each of you will be pinned against 3 other opponents. You win by having the highest score at the end of the tournament. You lose by reaching a score of 0 points.
There will be no custom-made map for this one. All challengers will play Dark Extermination maps, without any modifications. At the end of the match, the winner posts the game ID on the forum, along with the player names (example: Game ID: 1337. Ultimatedewd vs OMGsoGoth).
The tournament phases are as follows:
21th May - Tournament begins | 1st Phase.
24th May - 2nd Phase.
27th May - Final Phase.
29th May - Results.
During each phase, opponents will be selected for each challenger. Each opponent counts as 1 Extermination Match. NOTE: Points will not increase/decrease by playing matches against other tournament challengers that are in -YOUR- Opponent list. All opponents will be selected randomly for each challenger
But what's a good tournament without the prizes, right? That's why, in ULTIMATE Street Beta Tournament, the top players will receive badges to attach to their signatures and show off their ultimate skills. Sure, they might not look like much, but think about the bragging rights!
